For my internship in the Spring of 2023, I worked with a local fashion designer, Julie Maeseele. She creates one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces, customized to the customer. She is passionate about sustainable and ethical fashion, and shares that passion with her community here in Birmingham. She sources surplus textiles and sews each garment by hand. Her work is truly unique.

I had the pleasure of working with her throughout this semester. I learned to work within her existing brand to create new content for social media, generate a monthly newsletter, shoot and edit a digital masterclass, and more.
