This cover art was the result of a collaboration between myself and a commercial music major, Emerie Ediger. Her song "Drowning from the Inside" is about feelings of comparison, jealousy, and overcoming. Listening to it feels like you are underwater, striving to reach the surface. I knew Cyanotype would be the perfect visual solution. I directed a photoshoot with Emerie, physically created the cyanotypes, and assembled two CD wallets. Her song and my design can be found on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
