This logo is a freelance job I did for a new event that is coming to Birmingham. Dragon City Open is a tabletop gaming tournament that is hopeful to become the premier tournament in the Southeast. After listening to several podcasts and doing research on other tabletop tournaments, I was able to design a logo that has real substance and depth.

Dice are an important element of many tabletop games, and the dragon tail is reminiscent of UAB, an essential Birmingham entity. The red drops represent Light the Night, an organization dedicated to Luekemia research. Proceeds from the DCO tournament will go towards Light the Night.
